The goal for this project was to research a typeface and create an original poster that communicates the characteristics of the letters. 

 

The font I selected was Optima designed by Hermann Zapf in 1958. The colors used for the design are inspired by the bill Hermann Zapf sketched the original characters when he was visiting Florence, Italy.
